We are looking for an experienced sales professional to manage and grow a portfolio of strategic retail clients in the UK. The Account Director role involves delivering strategic, commercially oriented business direction to clients, as well as managing sales processes to upsell solutions and sell into new entities within retail accounts. Success is measured by growth in the retail territory and the success of initiatives connecting our brands with those retailers, which is a core company strategy.

We seek a passionate individual who enjoys solving clients’ business problems and exceeding retention targets, with a sales mentality for growth and new revenue opportunities within existing relationships. Requirements include 5+ years of account management or customer success experience in ecommerce, digital, or SaaS industries.

Primary Duties of the Role:

  1. Manage a strategic territory, including account management and opportunity identification for growth.
  2. Build and maintain a pipeline within existing accounts.
  3. Demonstrate and sell high-ROI software solutions to C-level stakeholders, navigating complex sales cycles and building consensus.
  4. Manage all aspects of client relationships to ensure success with Bazaarvoice products and services.
  5. Lead sales cycles and collaborate with internal teams to close deals.
  6. Forecast accurately and manage territory growth.
  7. Build champions within client organizations, tailoring strategies based on business needs.

Skills and Experience Necessary for the Role:

  1. 5+ years of account management or customer success experience in ecommerce, digital, or SaaS industries.
  2. Experience with proven sales methodologies, such as BANT, with full training provided.
  3. Track record of exceeding quotas and building account champions for mutual success.
  4. Strong work ethic, self-motivated, quick learner, accountable.
  5. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.

Experience Nice to Have:

  1. Experience with Salesforce, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  2. Experience in the retail ecosystem.
  3. Full authorization to work in the EU or UK without restrictions; sponsorship not provided.
