We're on the lookout for an experienced and commercially focused Account Director with a solid background in online marketing. This role is perfect for someone who already has hands-on experience across key digital channels—email marketing, paid social, SEO, PPC, marketplaces, affiliates, CRO, and creative media—and is ready to take the lead on high-value client accounts.

What You'll Be Doing
As an Account Director, you'll take full ownership of a portfolio of premium accounts—acting as the main strategic lead for your clients and guiding them through every step of their digital journey. You'll work closely with channel experts to ensure seamless execution and will constantly be on the lookout for opportunities to drive growth across the online marketing mix.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy
- Develop and execute tailored, results-driven marketing strategies across all key digital channels: email, paid social, SEO, PPC, affiliates, marketplaces, CRO, and creative media
- Ensure strategies are aligned to client goals, with clear KPIs and success metrics
Client Relationships
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients, positioning yourself as a trusted strategic advisor
- Lead regular performance reviews and strategy sessions with clients and key stakeholders
Performance & Insight
- Monitor account performance through data and analytics, identifying insights and optimisation opportunities across channels
- Take proactive steps to enhance outcomes, improve ROI, and deliver measurable business results
Growth & Upselling
- Spot opportunities to grow accounts by introducing new services or expanding existing activity
- Confidently pitch relevant services and collaborate with internal teams to deliver on new initiatives
Problem Solving & Communication
- Handle client challenges with a solution-first mindset, managing expectations and resolving issues effectively
- Maintain clear and consistent communication across all client touchpoints
Operational Excellence
- Ensure account admin is accurate and up-to-date, including invoicing, documentation, and meeting follow-ups
- Work closely with internal teams to maintain high standards of delivery
Mentorship & Collaboration
- Support junior team members with guidance and coaching
- Collaborate across departments to share knowledge and align on client goals
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading online marketing activity across multiple channels (email, social, SEO, PPC, CRO, affiliates, marketplaces, and creative media)
- A track record of managing high-value client accounts and delivering multi-channel strategies
- Confident in using data to inform decisions and make recommendations
- Commercially astute with a natural ability to spot upsell opportunities and drive account growth
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with strong presentation skills
- Calm and constructive under pressure, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
