Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Account Director with a strong interest in multichannel medical communications that are clinically relevant, drive behavior change, and ultimately improve patient outcomes across various therapy areas. This role involves working on bespoke pharmaceutical medical communications campaigns for major clients. The environment is collaborative, friendly, and enthusiastic, with a focus on employee well-being, internal promotion, flexibility for WFH and hours, and a great location.

Responsibilities include:

  • Confidently explaining communications strategies and budgets to clients.
  • Designing and implementing pharmaceutical marketing and medical education campaigns, managing team delivery within time and budget constraints.
  • Developing revenue-generating ideas and understanding client planning processes.
  • Working with briefs and understanding brand strategies for prescription drugs.

Qualifications and experience:

  • At least 4-5 years of experience in medcomms within an agency setting; suitable for experienced Account Directors or senior Account Managers ready for advancement.
  • Willingness to work in the office in Buckinghamshire at least 2 days a week.
  • Passion for digital communications and medicine.
  • A scientific background, preferably a life science degree, is essential.
