Account Director - Life Sciences - SaaS Engagement Platform

My client is looking for an Account Director to lead their Event/Engagement platform solution.

Their platform provides life sciences teams with a comprehensive solution to manage both in-person and virtual engagements, capturing every interaction in their CRM. By simplifying event management and measurement, they enable pharma organizations to create better experiences for healthcare professionals at reduced costs. Their solution transforms complex congress engagements, webinars, standalone meetings, advisory boards, and field-led meetings into meaningful connections that drive results for commercial and medical teams.

Location: Switzerland / UK / Germany / France / Remote within the European Union.

About the Role:

The Account Director reports directly to the Head of Sales and is responsible for driving revenue growth within existing and new customers. As the primary point of contact for key accounts across the EMEA region, you will identify and close expansion, upgrade, and renewal opportunities, execute account retention and expansion plans, and build relationships with key stakeholders—engaging new users, fostering trust with champions, and managing relationships with senior stakeholders.

Required Skills/Qualifications (MUST HAVE):

  • BA/MBA from a leading university.
  • Deep knowledge of Events/Services
  • Extensive experience in Life Sciences/Pharma
  • Over 8 years of sales experience in Events/Agency or CRM/Events SaaS software vendors (MUST HAVE)
  • Proficiency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
