We are looking for an Account Director to work with our client.
Summary
An Account Director is responsible for leading the end-to-end process of planning and implementing advertising and communications campaigns. They collaborate with marketing, creative, production, strategy, finance, and external partners at each stage of a project, ensuring every team contributes effectively from brief to delivery.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Strong campaign management skills, experienced in managing multiple projects end-to-end
- Ability to understand the strategic purpose of a project and its contribution to brand growth
- Experience with through-the-line communications and managing integrated 360 campaigns across multiple media formats
- Manage all deliverables typical of an integrated advertising and communications campaign
- Strong relationship-building skills—trust, collaboration, knowledge, and motivating teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident presenter to stakeholders at all levels
- Financial acumen and rigor in managing the account daily
- Experience working in fast-changing environments, managing multi-stakeholder marketing teams, with pan-market experience beneficial
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
- Write status reports and check work against briefs
- Agree on the brief with marketing to ensure proper reception by the agency and stakeholders
- Organize internal briefing sessions, collaborating with strategy to develop briefs
- Partner with Creative Directors (CDs) and Executive Producers (EPs) to enable successful delivery of creative work
- Coordinate resources, project plans, and budgets with resource and production teams
- Manage client communications regarding project progress, issue resolution, and expectations
- Lead client presentations at all project stages, gather feedback, and outline next steps
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of campaigns from brief to completion
- Monitor project progression with production and creative teams to ensure timely, budget-compliant delivery meeting the brief
- Escalate issues to Senior Account Director (SAD) and Head of Business (HOB) as needed and facilitate resolution involving relevant stakeholders
- Maintain financial rigor, support SAD in preparing monthly burn reports, track retainer and production budgets, and assess new briefs' feasibility
- Collaborate with marketing to plan future projects, communicate upcoming priorities, delays, and issues
- Lead relationships with media agencies and third-party vendors to ensure effective collaboration
