Job description

We are seeking a commercially-driven Account Director with a strong integrated campaign background to join a global communications agency. You'll lead a team in London and collaborate globally to drive revenue, build client relationships, pitch and expand the agency offerings. Ideal candidates will have experience in B2B and regulated sectors, with a focus on both strategic growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Growth: Lead major accounts, focusing on project management, strategy, organic social, static and video assets.
  2. Team Leadership: Manage and develop a growing team, ensuring quality client work and driving internal growth.
  3. Opportunity Development: Work with senior leadership to uncover and develop new opportunities.
  4. Financial Oversight: Control project budgets, estimates, and supplier relationships.
  5. Pitching & Proposals: Support both company-wide pitches and internal team proposals.
  6. Culture & Knowledge Sharing: Foster a positive working environment and share expertise across the team.

Ideal Candidate:

  1. Experience managing B2B accounts in financial services, fintech, or professional services.
  2. Strong client communication and relationship-building skills.
  3. Digital and social media expertise, with an integrated approach across channels including PR, digital, social and print.
  4. Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership abilities.
  5. Financial acumen and experience with budgets, forecasts, and revenue targets.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience in regulated sectors and compliance.
  2. Integrated communications background.
  3. Familiarity with Microsoft Suite and Asana (a plus).
