Account Director - Automotive Tech and CRM Sales

Location:UK based with weekly travel to client sites and ROI offices (Milton Keynes / Nantwich)
Salary:£75k + bonus

About Us

Return on Investment Ltd (ROI) is a specialist provider of technology, marketing and sales solutions to some of the biggest names in the automotive sector. We’re growing fast and looking for a New Business Account Director to help us scale our Salesforce CRM and custom tech solutions across new and existing clients.

The Role

As our New Business Account Director, you’ll be at the forefront of our growth strategy – identifying, pitching, and winning new clients, while upselling our innovative technology solutions to our existing clients. You’ll be a consultative seller, a strategic thinker, and someone who thrives on hitting ambitious targets. You’ll report directly to the Sales Director and work closely with our Account Directors and Customer Success teams. This is a high-impact role with strong earnings potential, autonomy, and the chance to help shape our future.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving sales to new automotive clients for CRM and custom tech solutions, with a focus on growing product market share and generating measurable revenue and profit growth
  • Collaborating with Account and Commercial Directors on opportunities to grow technology sales from existing clients
  • Building tailored proposals, running compelling pitches, and managing the full sales cycle
  • Working closely with our internal tech and customer success teams to shape solutions
  • Staying on top of automotive and tech trends to inform strategy and spot new opportunities
What We’re Looking For
  • A strong background in automotive – with in-depth industry knowledge
  • Proven experience selling CRM solutions (Salesforce experience is beneficial)
  • An individual who thinks strategically, demonstrates a strong work ethic, and is self-motivated
  • Someone who builds trust quickly and communicates with clarity and confidence
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using tools like Salesforce, Hubspot, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
