The Account Director has overall responsibility for the success of a busy global media account within the travel industry. The right candidate will take ownership of the UK media strategy and oversee strategy in key global markets (US, APAC, France, Germany and Nordics). They will plan, buy, manage, analyse & report back on campaigns and be the main agency contact for our clients.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced and dynamic candidate to work with exciting global travel clients. Acting as a trusted advisor to clients and colleagues alike, our new Account Director should be comfortable working across integrated campaigns and be able to demonstrate planning & buying experience. We have a dedicated team of specialists across digital performance channels, so the ability to bridge the gap between technical experience and our clients (who are marketing all-rounders) is essential.
A core responsibility of the role will be developing strong relationships with colleagues to ensure client work is delivered effectively, namely from the performance and data and analytics functions. Our clients trust us to help position their brands and to lead analysis and measurement of campaign success. An interest in the analytical side of media and advertising is essential.
As lead global agency, our team owns the global media strategy, but we work with local planning & buying teams on the ground in international markets to execute campaigns. A clear point of view on media strategy and the ability to collaborate are important for success in this position.
A keen interest in the business success of their clients, over and above the media performance data alone, this candidate will develop a solid understanding of what impact our media activity has had on the client’s bottom line. They will have a proactive approach to problem-solving and recommending ways to improve and drive direct revenue.
