Account Director- Healthcare

A little about us….

Bray Leino is a creative and communication Agency that drives growth through Creativenergy, by going beyond, to find the most powerful way.

It’s the way we began back in 1973. Before email, before mobile phones, when London was still 6 hours by road, our founders set up shop in a gloriously rural part of the UK. It’s how we grew into a full-service global agency. And it’s how we still look at the world now.

Creativenergy is the force that makes us think, create and work differently to our competition. It’s what makes us a thriving powerhouse of free-range thinkers, creators and makers. And wherever we are in the world, connects us all back to one common ambition.

To use creativity to make businesses grow.

Role

About the Role...

We’re looking for an experienced Account Director with a solid background in agency life and strong knowledge of the OTC Healthcare sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a truly integrated account, working across a suite of household-name brands within an established, collaborative team

You’re likely to be an established Account Director, with a proven track record of leading full-service agency accounts. But we’re happy to hear from experienced Senior Account Managers who feel they’re ready to take a step up. Either way, you’ll bring insight, curiosity, and leadership to help deliver creative, strategically-sound work.

You’ll be a strong communicator, a natural storyteller, and a trusted partner to Clients and colleagues. You’ll thrive on the success of the team and nurturing new talent will be second nature to you. With a strong awareness of current cultural and healthcare trends, you’ll help shape brand success in a fast-moving, ever-evolving category.

You’ll show a determination to blend creativity with regulatory adherence and Client Services excellence will already be a part of your vocabulary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of a busy healthcare account, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, on brief and within budget
  • Interpret Client briefs with insight and confidence, asking the right questions and driving collaborative discussions
  • Act as a strategic partner, bringing deep knowledge of the Client's brand and market landscape
  • Create inspiring creative briefs, and present the resulting work with flair and impact
  • Play a hands-on role in maintaining the financial health of the account and recommending effective communication strategies
  • Support the wider Healthcare team with knowledge, enthusiasm and team spirit
  • Mentor and develop talent, encouraging a positive and ambitious team culture
  • Uphold excellence in Client Services across all internal and external relationships

About the Person…

  • Proven experience in an agency environment, ideally in OTC healthcare or self-care
  • A proactive, can-do mindset with excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Strong Client relationship skills, with the ability to build trust and influence
  • A natural communicator who thrives in both in-person and digital environments
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage projects and people effectively
  • Accountability and confidence in making decisions and leading from the front
  • A genuine desire to exceed Client expectations and deliver outstanding results
  • Passion for the healthcare industry and curiosity about consumer behaviour
Benefits

And in return…

  • 25 days’ holiday, increasing to 29 after two years’ service, plus Bank Holidays
  • Company pension scheme, with enhanced Employer contributions after 1 years’ service
  • Medical Cash Plan – including employee assist programme, contributions to dental, optical, physio etc.
  • Employee Discount Scheme – an online platform for all staff offering a variety of discounts at various shopping outlets, gyms etc
  • Electric Car Purchase Scheme, via Salary Sacrifice
  • Outstanding training and progression, including access to LinkedIn Learning and The Mission Group Learning Management System
  • Employee referral scheme
  • Regular staff social events
  • Company Christmas closure
  • Long service awards
  • Cycle To Work scheme
  • Mission Share Scheme
