Our customers need first-class support, which is why we hire top talent to handle their accounts! We’re looking for a client-focused Commercial Account Broker to join us. Working alongside experienced Account Executives, you will provide superb and varied services to our many customers. The main goal of your role is to maximize account retention and growth through account management, broking, and technical support. We encourage customer loyalty by delivering excellent service.

How you'll make an impact

• Create documents for new customers outlining their insurance requirements
• Obtain renewal terms and research suitable alternatives for presentations; account managers discuss these with customers during face-to-face meetings
• Coordinate renewal quotes and consider mid-term adjustments for existing customers
• Accurately record and enter all customer details into the system promptly
• Manage insurer queries related to customer policies
• Confirm cover with insurers, process policies, and follow up on outstanding documentation
• Ensure delivery of policy documentation from insurers, reviewing before approval and release by the Account Executive
• Handle account queries and credit control matters, alerting account managers to concerns
• Apply relevant legal and regulatory policies concerning insurance contracts as needed

About You

• Experience working with large commercial or corporate clients, UK and international, is desirable
• Technical knowledge of Property, Casualty, Motor, Financial Lines, and Cyber insurances
• Working towards or holding Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications: Cert CII, Dip CII, or ACII is desirable; GCSE standard or equivalent education
• Experience working within regulated, target-driven frameworks achieving SLAs
• Risk awareness in handling customer information, with the ability to recognize potential risks and seek advice
• Strong rapport-building and customer service skills, with excellent communication and social skills
• Detail-oriented, process-driven, and able to meet deadlines; proactive in organizing and analyzing information
• Previous experience with the Acturis platform
• Proficient in MS Office
• Eligible to work in the UK
