Initial Accommodation (IA) Operations Manager
Location: UK wide
Salary: 60,000pa
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Includes oversight across days, nights, and weekends

Are you an experienced Operations Leader with a background in housing and people management? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with a strong focus on compliance, performance, and stakeholder engagement?

We're working with a forward-thinking organisation to recruit an IA Operations Manager to join their expanding team within the housing of the homeless. Reporting to the Strategic Operations Lead, you'll take ownership of the leadership and delivery of operational excellence across Initial Accommodation services, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a team of IA Housing Team Leaders across multiple locations

  • Oversee operational delivery including nights and weekends

  • Ensure contractual, legislative, and policy compliance across all areas

  • Analyse and interpret performance data to drive continuous improvement

  • Manage stakeholder relationships and briefings across the organisation

  • Champion staff performance, development, and motivation



About You:

  • Proven background in operations, social housing and contract management

  • Strong experience in people and site leadership

  • Confident in using data to inform decisions and improve service delivery

  • Able to lead with a hands-on approach, including during out-of-hours periods

  • Highly organised, with excellent communication and leadership skills



Additional Requirements:

  • This role is subject to a DBS check and DVLA check.
