The role

The Motorcycle Accessories Manager supports the development and execution of the motorcycle accessories category, working closely with the Alternative Revenue Director to shape strategy and lead go-to-market execution. This role ensures accessories are developed, delivered, and sold effectively to support motorcycle launches and enhance customer experience. It involves cross-functional collaboration across design, engineering, project teams, sales, and dealer network to maximize commercial performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  1. Product Development & Delivery
  • Execute the accessories strategy aligned with vehicle launches and business goals.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and project teams to ensure timely development and delivery of accessories.
  • Monitor industry trends, customer insights, and competitors to inform new product development.
  • Manage supplier relationships for sourcing and product availability.
  • Sales Strategy & Performance
    • Develop and implement sales and distribution strategies for accessories.
    • Work with sales teams and dealers to increase accessory sales and attachment rates.
    • Create promotional plans in collaboration with marketing.
    • Analyze sales data to optimize pricing and forecast demand.
  • Customer & Dealer Engagement
    • Develop training materials for internal teams and dealers.
    • Deliver product training to enhance dealer knowledge and sales capability.
    • Maintain accurate online listings and digital content for accessories.
    • Represent customer feedback in product development.
  • Digital & Retail Readiness
    • Ensure accurate and engaging online presentation of accessories.
    • Coordinate with marketing to support digital campaigns.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting
    • Track sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
    • Report KPIs and insights to senior leadership.
    • Contribute to future product planning and strategy.

    Personal Profile

    • 8+ years’ experience in product, category, or commercial management, ideally in motorcycles.
    • Deep knowledge of motorcycle accessories and passion for the riding community.
    • Experience supporting product launches and cross-functional collaboration.
    • Strong commercial awareness and ability to work with sales and dealer networks.
    • Proficiency with data tools (e.g., Excel) and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication, training, and relationship-building abilities.

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience in omni-channel sales, including online retail and dealer networks.
    • Familiarity with product development processes in automotive sectors.
    • Existing industry or dealership relationships within motorcycle accessories.
