The Role

The Motorcycle Accessories Manager supports the development and execution of the motorcycle accessories category, working closely with the Alternative Revenue Director to shape strategy and lead go-to-market execution. This role ensures accessories are developed, delivered, and sold effectively to support motorcycle launches and enhance customer experience. It involves collaboration across design, engineering, project teams, sales, and dealer networks to maximize commercial performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Product Development & Delivery
  • Execute the accessories strategy aligned with vehicle launches and business goals.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and project teams to ensure timely development and delivery of accessories.
  • Monitor industry trends, customer insights, and competitors to inform product development.
  • Manage supplier and vendor relationships to coordinate sourcing and availability.
Sales Strategy & Performance
  • Develop and implement sales and distribution strategies for accessories.
  • Work with sales teams and dealers to increase accessory sales and attachment rates.
  • Create promotional plans for seasonal launches.
  • Analyze sales data to optimize pricing, demand forecasting, and profitability.
Customer & Dealer Engagement
  • Develop training materials for internal teams and dealers.
  • Deliver product training to enhance dealer knowledge and sales capabilities.
  • Ensure accurate and appealing online representation of accessories.
  • Represent customer feedback in product development discussions.
Digital & Retail Readiness
  • Oversee online listings and digital content for accessories.
  • Coordinate with marketing to ensure consistent messaging and promotions.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Track sales, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities.
  • Report on category performance and KPIs to senior management.
  • Provide insights for future product planning and strategy.
Candidate Profile
  • 8+ years’ experience in product, category, or commercial management, preferably in the motorcycle industry.
  • Strong knowledge of motorcycle accessories and a passion for the riding community.
  • Experience supporting product launches and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in omni-channel sales, including online retail and dealer networks.
  • Familiarity with product development in automotive sectors.
  • Existing industry relationships within motorcycle accessories or dealerships.
