An established security systems manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Access Control Engineer in Hay Mills. The role involves installing and servicing various security systems, including access control and CCTV, with an immediate start for a permanent position. Candidates should have relevant certifications and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

  • Accreditation with ADSA, CAMEsafe, Tynetec CAI or equivalent required.
  • Overview of electronic locks and interlock systems preferred.
  • Full UK driving licence is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Perform installations and service a range of security systems.
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance.
  • Carry out pre-installation site surveys.

Skills

Knowledge of access control systems

Job description

Location: B11, Hay Mills, City and Borough of Birmingham

Description

An established security systems manufacturing company based in Tyseley require an experienced Access Control Engineer.

Duties:

  • Performinstallations including the integration of access control systems (e.g. Paxton,Hikvision, Intratone)
  • Dis-connect and re-connects ofdoor installations.
  • Service and install a range of door entry, warden call, automatic door / gate systems, CCTV systems (including IP/networked), and intruder alarms.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance to the above systems.
  • Pre installation site surveys to assess cable routes etc.
  • Visiting client locations and informing them of the functionality, care, and upkeep of their new installations.

Requirements:

  • An accreditation with ADSA, CAMEsafe, Tynetec CAI or equivalent.
  • Overview of different electronic locks, interlock andfob systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and system schematics.
  • CSCS or ECS card (preferred)
  • Full UK driving licence.

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm or 8am to 5pm with occasional earlierstarts when required to visit clients.

This is a permanent position with an immediate start.
