Job summary

Progroup Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Access Control and Door Entry Engineer in the City of London area. You will install, service, and maintain access control and door entry systems, diagnose faults efficiently, and carry out planned preventive maintenance and reactive visits.

Applicants should have hands-on experience with Paxton Net2/Paxton10, Hikvision, Salto, PAC, Videx, or Comelit, and a valid UK driving licence. CCTV/gate/intruder alarm experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as Access Control and Door Entry Engineer.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience with Paxton Net2/Paxton10, Hikvision, Salto, PAC, Videx or Comelit.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of access control systems.
• Installation and maintenance of audio and video door entry systems.
• Diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently to minimise system downtime.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive service visits.
• Ensuring all works are completed in line with industry standards and health & safety requirements.

About You

• Proven experience working as an Access Control and Door Entry Engineer.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience with systems such as Paxton Net2/Paxton10, Hikvision, Salto, PAC, Videx, or Comelit.
• Experience with CCTV, automatic gates, or intruder alarms would be advantageous.
