Access and Emergency Care Service Manager

Salary: £74,858 - £89,566
Hours: 36 per week, 52 weeks
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Service Manager to support our Social Care Direct Response Team, Emergency Social Work service, and Appropriate Adult service. The post-holder will have significant leadership experience and be able to demonstrate the ability to transform services and implement improvement programmes. You must be either a social worker registered with the SSSC or an occupational therapist registered with the Health Care Professions Council with an in-depth understanding of social care services.
As the HSCP prepares for future challenges and aims to meet its strategic objectives, it is essential to focus on delivering a safe, effective, and responsive service. Developing and delivering a vision for the 'front door' and first point of contact for service users, carers, and professionals is critical. This role is part of an exciting period of improvement to provide better outcomes for people and create a positive workplace environment.

This post involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If you have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and increases annually until it reaches the top of the range.
