Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You'll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

What you'll do at work

As an Apprentice Accountant, you will join Burberry on a four year development program.

You will be immersed in Burberry's finance teams with exposure to the global Payment and Procurement Operations (PPO), Sales Order to Cash (SOTC) and Record to Report (RTR) teams based at Burberry Business Services (BBS) Leeds. In conjunction with this, you will build your technical knowledge through undertaking the ACCA qualification.

This is a globally recognised and respected qualification which will help build practical accounting skills and be foundational to your future career development.

ACCA Level 7 There are three levels including Applied Knowledge, Applied Skills and Strategic Professional. Applied Knowledge helps you understand the role of accounting in the business environment, and develop the practical skills and techniques expected of an accountant working in business.
