McGinnis Loy Associates Ltd is working with a Top Independent Accountancy Firm to recruit an Audit Senior for their Harrow office. The role is 50% Audit and 50% Accounts advisory, managing owner-managed businesses up to £80m turnover and supervising a small team.

Responsibilities include managing client audits, preparing files for review, planning to meet budgets, and coaching graduates. The firm offers a salary up to £52,000 with pension, healthcare and 23 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA or ACCA with practice experience in an accountancy firm.
• Experience managing audit teams and planning smaller audits.
• Driver with access to own car.

Responsibilities

• Manage client audits and assist with complex corporate audits.
• Produce audit files for review by Audit Manager/Director.
• Plan smaller audit assignments and manage budgets to meet deadlines.
• Supervise graduate audit staff on-site and coach them on the job.
• Prepare year-end accounts, financial statements and management accounts.
• Submit accounts to Companies House by deadlines.
