Where you fit in:
You will be responsible for the Training and/or assessing of Yorkshire Water Colleagues in Technical (Water/Wastewater) and Health & Safety related courses/qualifications. You will deliver consistently good teaching, learning and assessment and motivate delegates to raise their ambitions and realise their full potential.
As our Academy Trainer/Assessor you will -
Design, development, and delivery of Technical (Water/Wastewater) and Health & Safety training products falling into own area of expertise
Train delegates against agreed standards of competence using a range of teaching, learning and assessment methods.
Coaching individuals or small groups around H&S principles in line with products and Health & Safety policies and procedures
Monitor current legislation and internal processes related to areas of the training catalogue
Assess evidence of delegates competence against the national standards of occupational competence within the qualification.
Maintain accurate and verifiable delegate assessment and achievement records as required by Yorkshire Water/awarding body.
Adopt a holistic approach to the assessment process.
Provide feedback to delegates on the assessment decisions.

What skills & qualifications you will need:
Experience of teaching/assessing delegates in the workplace
Experience of delivering Technical (Water/Wastewater) and Health & Safety related teaching, learning and assessment activities including legislative health and safety requirements
Level 3 Award in Education & Training, Ptlls, Ctlls, Dtlls, Cert Ed or equivalent or willing to gain a formal teaching qualification.
A Full UK Driving Licence is essential as daily travel will be required to Academy sites across the Yorkshire region
