Job summary

Norwich City Football Club is seeking an ambitious Academy Physical Performance practitioner to support youth development at Colney.

You will deliver strength and conditioning and sport science to all Academy squads, contribute to the development plan, and work within an MDT to influence coaching programmes.

A degree in sport science and a BASES accreditation or recognized S&C qualification (e.g., NSCA CSCS, UKSCA) are required.

Qualifications

• Delivery of physical performance support to all Academy squads.
• Assist in implementing the strength and power development strategy across Academy squads.
• Assist in writing and continually updating the Academy Physical Performance Plan.
• Demonstrate ability to influence coaching programmes within an elite Academy MDT.
• Live EMFAIF First Aid Certificate is required.

Job description

• To provide delivery of Physical Performance support to all Academy squads.
• Assist in the implementation of the Club's strength and power development strategy across all Academy squads.
• Assist in writing and continually updating the department's Academy Physical Performance Plan.

  This is an excellent role for an ambitious and driven individual who is passionate about the physical development of youth athletes. The candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to positively influence a coaching programme and work well within an MDT in an elite Academy setting., Undergraduate degree in a Sport Science-related subject
• BASES Accreditation OR Recognised strength and conditioning qualification (e.g., NSCA CSCS, UKSCA).
• Experience of delivering sports science / S&C support in elite sport.
• Demonstrable experience of strategic planning.
• Live EMFAIF First Aid Certificate.
