Job summary

Burnley FC Academy is seeking an Academy PDP Physiotherapist to support the Club's development and deliver first-class care to players, staff, and supporters.

You will work within a medical and performance MDT, leading rehabilitation for the U18 squad and providing elite level training and matchday medical support on and off-site, depending on fixtures. A flexible approach to evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in physiotherapy is required.
• ITMMiF qualification is required.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the medical MDT and lead on the U18 squad.
• Plan and deliver rehabilitation sessions to support elite return to play.
• Provide on-site and off-site medical support for training and matchdays.
• Participate in PDP performance meetings.

• Bachelors or Master's Degree in Physiotherapy – with post graduate experience.

You will also need to have a flexible approach to workand be able to work evenings and weekends.

Role Expectations

As theAcademy PDP Physiotherapist, youwill be expected to:

• To work as part of a wider medical and performance MDT, whilst taking a lead role on the U18 squad.


• To work as part of the medical team in the planning and delivery of rehabilitation sessions to ensure elite level return to play for all academy players.


• Provide elite level training and matchday medical support on-site and off-site, dependant on matchday fixtures.


• Effectively collaborate and contribute to PDP performance meetings.
