Academy Part Time Youth Development Phase Coach

Colchester United Football Club - Part Time Academy Coaches

Colchester United Football Club are seeking a number of part time academy coaches to work within our exciting and progressive Category 2 Academy. The role will develop players in the Youth Development Phase (YDP) age groups, to ensure continual individual player development and ensure our coaching programme follows the Academy Performance Plan (APP).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Delivery of high-level coaching sessions for YDP players.
2. Delivery of matchday duties for YDP matchdays.
3. Assist on Individual Learning Plans for the YDP players.
4. Input on MDT within the YDP programme.
5. Input on the retain and release process for YDP players.
6. Ensure PMA and other player records are kept up to date for YDP players.

Requirements:

1. UFEA B coaching award Essential / A Licence Desirable
2. Advanced Youth Award Desirable
3. EFAiF
4. FA Safeguarding

Person Specification:

1. Passion for working with young people.
