Job summary

Doncaster Rovers FC is seeking a Physiotherapist or Sports Therapist to join our Academy performance team on a casual basis to cover matches for age groups u9–u16. You will deliver pitch-side medical care on matchdays and support rehabilitation for young players.

Essential qualifications include a degree in Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy or Sports Rehabilitation and an ITMMiF qualification; safeguarding credentials are desirable.

Qualifications

• Degree and professional qualification required.
• ITMMiF qualification and safeguarding credentials desirable.
• HCPC or BASRaT registration may be required.

Responsibilities

• Pitch-side care and immediate medical management during training and matches.
• Maintain medical notes and records using Kitman Labs.
• Stay updated on musculoskeletal care and football medicine.
• Represent the club positively in all interactions.
• Adhere to safeguarding policies at all levels.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pitch-Side Care: Provide immediate pitch-side emergency care during training, home, and away games.
• Documentation: Maintain up-to-date medical notes and records via Kitman Labs.
• Continuous Learning: Stay current with developments in musculoskeletal care and football medicine.
• Professional Representation: Act as a positive ambassador of Doncaster Rovers FC at all times.
• Safeguarding: Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures at all levels.
