RTN Diagnostics is on a mission to transform neurodevelopmental assessments with clinical excellence at the heart of everything we do. We launched the RTN Academy - a comprehensive 12-month training programme for Trainee Neurodevelopmental Practitioners, and now we are seeking an Academy Manager to lead, inspire, and oversee the performance of our next generation of clinicians.

About the Role

The Academy Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of neurodevelopmental assessments at RTN. You will be responsible for managing, supervising, and supporting our Trainee Neurodevelopmental Practitioners as they develop the skills to deliver high-quality ADHD and Autism diagnostic assessments. This role is ideal for a dynamic, experienced clinician with a passion for leadership, training, and delivering clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the performance, wellbeing, and professional development of Trainee Neurodevelopmental Practitioners throughout their training journey.
  • Provide ongoing support to ensure assessments are carried out to the highest standard using tools such as ADI-R and ADOS.
  • Deliver training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and report-writing skills, with the support of the clinical team.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to support individual growth.
  • Liaise with the wider MDT to maintain quality assurance and uphold RTN's clinical standards.
  • Identify and address training needs, developing materials to support learning and professional development.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the RTN Academy programme.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and best practice guidelines.

About You

  • Must be trained in ADI-R and ADOS, with a strong background in conducting diagnostic assessments using standardised tools (e.g. ADI-R, ADOS, ACE, DIVA).
  • Ideally a Speech and Language Therapist (SALT), though we're open to considering other relevant professionals with the right experience - including those with a background in psychology, neuroscience, or other health-related professions such as clinical or nursing.
  • Experienced in managing trainees or teams, with a genuine interest in training, mentoring, and professional development.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused.
  • A collaborative team player with strong leadership qualities and a commitment to clinical excellence.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Psychology, Neuroscience, Healthcare, or a related discipline).

Company Benefits

  • Casual dress
  • Company pension
  • Working from home and occasional travel to our Deal office (~once every quarter)

Why Join RTN?

  • Hybrid working arrangements.
  • Supportive, inclusive, and innovative work culture.
