Job summary

Watergrove Trust is seeking an Academy IT Lead to join the IT department. The role involves leading IT support across secondary academies and supporting primary schools, with joint responsibilities and a requirement for a driving licence and use of your own vehicle.

You'll have opportunities for funded level 3/4 or degree apprenticeships and career progression within 2 years. Interviews are scheduled for 25 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Problem solving and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Strong technical ability and IT support experience.
• Willingness to develop across a wide variety of IT areas and pursue funded apprenticeships.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support, desktop/hardware support, and contribute to larger projects.
• Install, configure and maintain software, hardware and infrastructure while ensuring data security.
• Work across Watergrove Trust secondary and primary schools and collaborate with staff.
