A leading healthcare employer in Romford is seeking an Academy Health and Wellbeing Physiologist to join their multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Sport and Exercise Science and be passionate about promoting health and fitness. Academy Health and Wellbeing Physiologist, Romford FWC | Physiology | Permanent contract | Full time. Starting Salary £27,250.00 per annum, 40 hours per week

Main duties of the job

As an Academy Physiologist, you will: join our multidisciplinary team of doctors, physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals, complete our in-house three-week training course, help promote health and fitness as part of our holistic, comprehensive health service, deliver health assessments that support health and wellbeing goals, support prevention as well as rehabilitation and recovery, be passionate and caring in the service you provide, putting client's needs first, and complete our award-winning preceptorship programme during your first 12 months in the role

In this entry role to our Physiology department, you'll make a difference, not just a living. We're transforming healthcare in the UK by bringing together assessment, treatment and prevention services to provide integrated care. Whilst you will have a base location, all our Academy Physiology roles are mobile, so you will be required to travel in and around London

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2:2 Sport and Exercise Science degree or equivalent
Experience
  • Studied human physiology, exercise, biochemistry, anatomy/biomechanics, psychology and nutrition, and know how to apply this in practice
