Carshalton Athletic is a multi-award-winning semi-professional football club with a proud history dating back to 1907.

Today, Carshalton Athletic is much more than a football club. As well as providing football for more than 870 players from first kicks to first team, the Academy provides a post-16 education and football programme.

Carshalton Athletic Academy

The Academy offers a full time, two year sixth form programme where students aged 16 - 19 study a Level 3 National (Extended) Diploma in Sports Coaching & Development, whilst gaining pathway opportunities into 1st team semi professional football.

Our mission at CAFC Academy is to provide every student with the highest standard of football development, education, mentorship and personal development whilst giving them access to a wide range of future pathways. We give every student the individual attention they deserve both on and off the pitch and empower the young people to succeed in whichever pathway they choose.

The complete programme is delivered at the main football stadium which benefits from state of the art technology and resources.

Role Description

This is a 30 hour a week (approx) role for an Academy Football Coach, located in Carshalton SM5 2PW. This is a term-time only position with the possibility of additional paid opportunities.

The Academy Football Coach will be responsible for planning, organising, and delivering high-quality football coaching sessions to academy players.

The role involves developing training programmes, mentoring players on football techniques and strategies, assessing players' skills and progress and providing constructive feedback to enhance their performance. Additionally, the coach will ensure the well-being of all players and communicate effectively with players, parents and other staff.

• Ability to work as part of a team (essential)
• Experience working in school / college environments (desired)
• Own transport (desired)
