An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Academy Admissions and Administration Lead to join our academy, to be responsible for providing effective clerical, administrative and reception duties within the Academy, reporting to the Office Manager and assisting with the planning and development of support services.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading on admissions, including council and school communications, document retrievals, booking in meetings and any other admission administrative duties.
  • Dealing with complex reception and visitor queries. When required, answer routine telephone and face to face enquiries, sign in visitors and undertake general reception duties.
  • Providing general clerical support e.g. photocopying, filing, faxing, emailing, completing routine forms and responding to routine correspondence.
  • Assist in the input and production of data and information for the Academy using appropriate ICT packages and databases including production of reports.

Pay range: SCP12 - SCP20 - £25,622.00 - £29,205.37 - FTE: £27,711.00 - £31,586.00

Qualifications and Skills:

  • GCESs Maths & English minimum of grade 4 or equivalent
  • Experience of using the Microsoft Office suite to intermediate level or above
  • Experience of administrative or secretarial work
  • Experience of working front of house/reception
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity around information
