Job description

We are currently looking for an Academic & Student Services Support Officer to join our busy team at Manchester Metropolitan University International College!

Hours of Work: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.

In this role, you will become a critical member of the Academic and Student Services team responsible for key aspects of the student academic life cycle. Your main focus will be to support the College Director Principal and Manager of Academic Skills and Services (MASS) in delivering first-rate student support, including student records management, assessment processes, progression tracking, finance coordination, registration assistance, attendance monitoring, accommodation logistics, and welfare support. You will need to utilise your initiative and energy to ensure our students feel welcomed, comfortable, and equipped to succeed in their academic endeavours.

Academic & Student Services Support Officer Requirements

  • University level qualifications or at least two years' experience in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced customer-oriented environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong administrative skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with data systems and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
