The University of Wolverhampton Library is recruiting a new Academic Skills Librarian to join the Skills for Learning team.
Role Purpose: To work as part of a team to plan, deliver, and promote academic skills development for the University’s students and staff. The role includes leading the development of general mathematics support.
Candidate Profile: Education professionals, especially those with experience in higher education, are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be involved in professional development and will be supported to study for the University’s PGCert in Higher Education Teaching and Practice, with the potential to gain fellowship for Advance HE upon completion.
Location and Flexibility: The role is based at Wolverhampton City Campus, with occasional travel to Walsall and Telford campuses. Flexibility is required to support evening and weekend library hours.
Benefits: The University offers benefits including a minimum of 30 days annual leave (plus bank holidays and closure days) and a hybrid working model, with approximately 60% of work hours on-site, depending on the time of year.
