About the Role

The Academic Services Administrator – Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance sits within the wider Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance (QARC) function and plays a vital role in ensuring a high-quality academic experience for our client’s students.

You’ll provide key administrative support to help deliver the University’s quality assurance and enhancement frameworks, while also supporting compliance with regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the implementation and ongoing development of effective administrative processes aligned to the QARC team’s improvement plan.
  • Format and update key policies, procedures, and documents in preparation for wider University dissemination.
  • Act as the first point of contact for queries to the QARC team, routing or escalating issues as needed.
  • Provide timely administrative support to cyclical quality assurance and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Deliver high-quality committee servicing as required.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues across the University.
  • Support wider QARC projects and initiatives, as well as provide cover during team absences.
  • Ensure staff and stakeholders are supported in complying with relevant academic and regulatory procedures.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in a similar administrative role, ideally within Higher Education.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to use initiative and work independently.

This role is offered as a 6-month fixed term contract.
