Job summary

Randstad Student & Worker Support is seeking reliable Academic Notetakers to assist University of Portsmouth students, starting September 2026. You will attend lectures, produce accurate handwritten notes, and ensure accessibility for students with disabilities.

Role offers flexible hours, CPD, and 28 days holiday pro rata; pay £12.71 per hour plus benefits. You will work closely with Randstad to support individual students while maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Neat handwriting and legible notes required.
• Good typing skills.
• Accurate spelling and grammar essential.
• Punctual and reliable with ability to work under time restrictions.
• Experience with learners with specific learning difficulties in higher/further education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate handwritten notes for lectures, seminars and group tasks.
• Review notes after lectures to ensure accessibility.
• Maintain professional relationship with students and confidentiality at all times.
• Work with Randstad to address student needs and ensure quality service.
