Job summary

Randstad Student Support is seeking reliable Academic Notetakers to support students at the University of Chichester for the 2026/2027 academic year. Start date September 2026. Pay rate £12.71 per hour with pro rata holidays and flexible hours.

You will attend lectures, produce accurate handwritten notes, and ensure accessible materials for students with disabilities. Strong handwriting, typing, grammar and time management are essential; experience with learners with specific learning

Qualifications

• Neat handwriting capable of legible notes.
• Good typing skills and accurate spelling/grammar.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Experience with learners with specific learning difficulties in higher education (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and legible handwritten notes for lectures, seminars/tutorials and group tasks.
• Review notes after lectures and ensure accessibility for the student.
• Maintain a professional relationship with the student and confidentiality.
• Coordinate with Randstad to address concerns and support students.
