Job Opportunity: Student Support Note Taker

Would you like a meaningful role working in student support? If yes, Randstad Student Support may have the role for you.

We are currently seeking reliable individuals committed to assisting students in high need of support. Your role will involve attending lectures at the University for the Creative Arts to produce high-quality notes for students unable to do so themselves due to disabilities.

Responsibilities
  1. Work closely with Randstad regarding students and address any concerns immediately.
  2. Maintain confidentiality of student information; do not disclose details to anyone other than Randstad.
  3. Attend lectures before they start to be prepared and avoid missing any part of the lecture.
  4. Produce high-quality notes, either typed or handwritten, based on the student's needs.
  5. Make notes tailored to the student's requirements and discussions.
  6. Review notes after the lecture to ensure they are legible and clear.
  7. Provide notes to students promptly.
  8. Maintain a professional relationship with students at all times.
  9. Adhere to the policies and regulations of the University.
Requirements
  • Accurate spelling and grammar skills.
  • Use your own laptop to take notes during lectures.
  • Neat, legible handwriting.
  • Ability to keep up with the lecturer and make notes in real-time.
  • Punctuality and reliability to understand the importance of your role.
  • Strong organizational skills.
Desirable
  • Degree-level education or knowledge of how lectures are conducted.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or learning difficulties.
