Job summary

The University of Leeds is seeking a senior finance business partner to provide strategic financial direction across key growth areas. You will work with senior stakeholders, offering commercial insight, robust financial analysis and investment assessment to drive sustainable decision making.

This campus-based role offers hybrid working and flexible arrangements, with strong emphasis on governance, risk mitigation and value creation for the university’s strategic delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive accounting and commercial insight
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders
• Ability to assess investment opportunities and pricing
• Experience in financial planning and analysis

Responsibilities

• Provide financial advice and commercial insight to key areas of strategic growth
• Support investment assessment, costing and pricing decisions
• Balance investment opportunities with academic priorities within regulations
• Coordinate with finance service and university teams
