Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) is a globally recognised centre of excellence for teaching and research in tropical diseases. Headquartered in the heart of Liverpool, with colleagues working all around the world, we are on a mission to improve health outcomes in disadvantaged populations globally, through partnership in research and education.
We are seeking an experienced Academic Developer with a strong background in online education to lead the diversification and enhancement of our online taught provision. The successful candidate will work across our online MSc and Postgraduate Diploma-level programmes and collaborate with colleagues throughout the Faculty of Education and beyond to promote effective, research-informed online teaching practices that support an excellent student experience. This is an exciting opportunity to shape LSTM's online education strategy and help deliver a flexible, high-quality learning experience to students around the globe.
The postholder will play a key leadership role in developing new programmes, enhancing existing ones, and ensuring pedagogical excellence across all modes of delivery. They will bring a track record of designing, developing and managing online education and the ability to lead institutional change through collaborative practice.
