An established industry player is seeking an Academic Advisor II to join their University Advisement Center. Academic Advisor II at the University Advisement Center, Georgia State University, assists academic departments and students with academic planning, advisement interpretation, and implementation of university policies regarding student enrollment and evaluation.
Responsibilities include:
Minimum: Bachelor's degree with 6 months of experience as an Academic Advisor I at GSU or three years of related experience. Alternatively, a combination of education and experience.
Preferred: Master's degree with three years of experience in student retention or student affairs, excellent communication skills, group facilitation experience, proficiency with relevant software, and experience with transfer articulation.
