Academic Accreditation Specialist (UK - Remote)

We are seeking an Academic Accreditation Specialist to join our team remotely in the UK. This role involves working closely with the VP of Compliance and Accreditation, as well as leading academics, to manage accreditation compliance paperwork.

The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented, systematic academic administrator who can see how components fit into the bigger picture. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Academic Administration: Designing and managing regulatory paperwork for accreditation compliance, becoming self-sufficient in preparing extensive applications.
  2. Quality Assurance: Understanding and applying specialized QA requirements for complex filings, with keen attention to detail.
  3. Instructional Design: Collaborating with academics to streamline course and degree design, considering future usability and student impact.
  4. Policy Writing and Process Improvement: Drafting clear policies and procedures related to accreditation and compliance.
  5. Stakeholder Management: Engaging with academic leaders, government officials, and others across cultural barriers with professionalism and persistence.

Requirements

  • Graduate-level education or a PhD
  • 4+ years of experience in academic administration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous, goal-focused, and able to navigate complex regulatory frameworks
  • Patience and persistence in bureaucratic environments
  • Self-starter capable of breaking down ambiguous projects into actionable steps in a start-up environment
