Overview

Academy Health and Wellbeing Physiologist – Wokingham FWC | Physiology | Permanent | Full time

Salary: Up to £27,250.00 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week

Main duties

As an Academy Physiologist, you will:

  • Join our multidisciplinary team of doctors, physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals
  • Complete our in-house three-week training course
  • Help promote health and fitness as part of our holistic, comprehensive health service
  • Deliver health assessments that support health and wellbeing goals
  • Support prevention as well as rehabilitation and recovery
  • Be passionate and caring in the service you provide, putting client’s needs first
  • Complete our award-winning preceptorship programme during your first 12 months in the role

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2:2 Sport and Exercise Science degree or equivalent
  • Studied human physiology, exercise, biochemistry, anatomy/biomechanics, psychology and nutrition, and know how to apply this in practice
Experience
  • Applicable knowledge of human physiology, exercise, biochemistry, anatomy/biomechanics, psychology and nutrition and the ability to apply this in practice
Job responsibilities

In this entry role to our Physiology department, you’ll make a difference by transforming healthcare in the UK through integrated assessment, treatment and prevention services. You will be mobile within the region of your base site.
