Overview

AC & Refrigeration Engineer
Location: West Midlands
Salary: Up to £40,000 + excellent package (flexible for the right person)

We are representing a leading facilities management business that works with a wide range of nationally recognised hospitality and retail brands. They are now looking to expand their team of 30+ engineers by appointing an AC & Refrigeration Engineer based in the West Midlands.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and repair of small commercial refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, including walk-in fridges/freezers, ice machines, bottle coolers, split systems and VRV/VRF systems.
• Regional patch - West Midlands.
• Paid door-to-door travel.
• Cover core hours (45 hours including breaks) with overtime payable after 40 hours.
• On-Call & Overtime: 1 in 8 standby rota (2pm-10pm during standby week).
• Standby retainer: £130 per week / £160 when acting as 3rd man (approximately every 16 weeks).
• Overtime rates: Time and a half after 10pm, double time after midnight.
• Minimum 4 hours paid per callout.

• Basic salary up to £40,000 (negotiable depending on experience).
