Job summary

Livingston Building Services is seeking an experienced AC Installation Engineer to join our team and deliver high-quality M&E projects across the UK. This permanent role focuses on installing air conditioning systems to exacting standards, reading schematics, and coordinating with site teams.

You will lead tradespeople and apprentices, maintain safety and quality records, and travel across the UK from bases in Glasgow/Edinburgh/Leeds/Manchester.

Qualifications

• Strong air conditioning knowledge predominantly with Daikin / Mitsubishi Electric.
• Confidence reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings.
• Proven experience installing equipment in a professional environment.
• The ability to diagnose and resolve complex air conditioning issues effectively.

AC Installation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced AC Installation Supervisor to join our team and support the successful delivery of high-quality projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and a proactive approach to client service.

Location

• Candidate can be based in Glasgow/Edinburgh/Leeds/Manchester but must be able to travel across the UK

What you’ll be doing

• Installing air conditioning systems to a high standard, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable performance.
• Reading and interpreting technical schematics and drawings to deliver accurate installations.

What we’re looking for

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with clients and colleagues.
• At least five years’ previous experience within the industry.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Previous experience working within commercial projects / minimum 3 years qualified experience.
