Multi-Skilled AC / Electrical Engineer

Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled AC / Electrical Engineer looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity to join a major contract in Hertfordshire as part of a mobile engineering team.

The Role

As our Multi-Skilled Engineer, you'll be responsible for the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on a variety of air conditioning and electrical systems. We're looking for someone with a strong background in fault-finding and a proactive approach to their work.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Performing PPM on AC and electrical systems.
• Attending to and resolving reactive maintenance issues and breakdowns.
• Diagnosing faults across HVAC and electrical systems.
• Participating in a rotating on-call rota for which you will receive additional standby pay.
• Communicating clearly and professionally with our clients and site contacts.

What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you must be a qualified and experienced engineer with excellent communication skills and a valid UK driving licence.

Essential requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (F-Gas Category 1).
• Demonstrable experience in a similar mobile engineering role covering both HVAC and electrical systems.
• Proven fault-finding abilities and a proactive maintenance approach.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A full UK driving licence.
