Company Description

Industrial blast cleaning and industrial spray painting company established for over 40 years in Kelham Island.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Abrasive Blasting Technician located in Sheffield. The Abrasive Blasting Technician will be responsible for preparing surfaces by abrasive blasting to client specifications and required standards. Day-to-day tasks include operating abrasive blasting equipment, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and following safety protocols while also streamlining our goods in services. The technician may also be involved in training to continuously improve and progress throughout other areas of the company.

Qualifications

• Experience with abrasive blast cleaning
• Experience with goods in
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good physical stamina and ability to work in industrial environments
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
• Certification in relevant safety protocols is a plus (FLT and Overhead license)
• Computer literate, using Microsoft word, and Excel
• Have a pro-active mindset and excellent attitude
