Job summary

First Energy in the UK is seeking a Systems Engineer for a hybrid role in Aberdeen on a contract basis (Inside IR35). The role provides discipline engineering support to UK operations to ensure equipment integrity and regularity, plus maintenance planning and plant optimisation.

You will work on safety, regulatory compliance, and project support, with offshore experience and strong communication to drive team collaboration and delivery of performance standards.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Chartered or working toward Chartership is advantageous.
• Experience in operational engineering and offshore environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure activities are conducted safely and in line with regulations.
• Define equipment/system performance standards and specs.
• Monitor performance and drive corrective actions as needed.
• Provide discipline engineering and maintenance support to UK operations.
