Job summary

Dunbia Group operates at the Highland site in Saltcoats, processing beef only with over 300 employees. Permanent factory operative roles are available in a fast-paced abattoir environment, with PPE supplied and a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:30am to 4:30pm.

The site offers on-site parking and a subsidised canteen, with no overseas sponsorship available. Role responsibilities include preparing beef carcasses for sale, packing and packaging, and maintaining strict hygiene and food safety

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training provided.

At our Highland site we process beef only and have over 300 employees. We’re based in Saltcoats with strong transport links.

We are currently recruiting for permanent factory operatives to work in the abattoir. It’s a fast-paced environment, with targets and customer specifications to achieve.

All PPE equipment will be supplied at no extra cost to you.

Monday – Friday

7.30am – 4.30pm

£12.71 per hour (Weekly Pay)

Responsibilities

• Preparing beef carcasses for sale, ensuring the meat is not spoiled
• Packing the meat in separate cartons and packaging
• Cleaning all surfaces and equipment after use
• Reporting any potential problems to supervisory staff and onsite meat hygiene inspectors
• Keeping abreast of all food safety and hygiene rules
• Following strict procedures at all times

Qualifications

You do not need any prior experience and you’ll be given all the training, equipment and support you will need.
