Job summary

Chatten Free School in Witham is seeking an ABA Tutor to support pupils aged 4-19 with autism and complex needs. You will deliver individualised curricula and behaviour support on a 1:1 or small group basis, building independence and quality of life.

The role is term-time, part-time (32.5 hours per week), with a fixed start date and a focus on recording progress, data analysis, and collaboration with families and colleagues.

Qualifications

• To be passionate about providing a high level of care and support to young people with learning disabilities and/or autism.
• Exceptional listening and communication skills.
• An empathetic approach.
• Basic IT skills to collect and analyse data.
• A proactive approach to work and be able to work on your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualised curriculums and behaviour support plans on a 1:1 or small group basis.
• Record and analyse data related to the pupil's programme to ensure targets are met.
• Create resources to support the delivery of the programme.
• Develop and sustain professional relationships with parents and coworkers and provide updates daily as required.
