Job description

A well-regarded special needs school in Brent is seeking a skilled and compassionate ABA Tutor to join their team from September on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practitioner with a background in Applied Behaviour Analysis who is passionate about supporting students with special educational needs.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering tailored, evidence-based interventions to support students with autism and other developmental needs. Working closely with class teachers, therapists, and support staff, the ABA Tutor will help implement individualised behaviour and learning plans, track progress, and contribute to creating a positive, structured learning environment.

Applicants must have previous experience working as an ABA Tutor or in a similar role within a special needs setting. A solid understanding of ABA principles, along with strong communication skills, patience, and a commitment to inclusion, are essential. This is a rewarding opportunity to join a supportive, professional team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.

To apply, please send a CV and cover letter to Hazel Perkins at 0207 580 2956 ext. 1059 or contact your local Axcis office for more details. If you know someone who might be interested, we offer £50 in shopping vouchers if you refer a friend and we successfully place them in the role.

This is a temporary position unless stated otherwise.

Axcis is an equal opportunities employer and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff and volunteers are required to share this commitment and to provide an up-to-date DBS check or consent to process one on your behalf, along with other mandatory compliance checks in line with DfE guidelines.

Axcis Education offers temporary supply work for daily, short-term, and long-term assignments, as well as permanent positions. Candidates must be suitably qualified and prepared to attend a face-to-face interview to demonstrate their suitability.

Salary will depend on skills and experience.
