Your duties:
This apprenticeship is suitable for individuals without prior accountancy or bookkeeping knowledge. It provides foundational skills in bookkeeping, accountancy, and business skills. Entry requirements are minimal; good maths, IT, and English skills are needed, along with a willingness to learn. The programme covers core accounting skills such as double-entry bookkeeping, basic costing, and business skills. Successful completion requires passing specific modules and an End Point Assessment (EPA). Training can be face-to-face or online. The apprenticeship must be relevant to the job and include dedicated off-the-job training time.
This programme builds on foundational skills, supporting growth within an accountancy and finance function. It includes the Level 3 Diploma in Accounting and covers preparing financial statements, management accounting, VAT returns, and business awareness. It prepares candidates for further study at Level 4. The programme requires passing four modules and an EPA. Training options are face-to-face or online. Relevance to the job and off-the-job training are mandatory.
GCSEs grades 9/A* - 4/C, including Maths and English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Opportunities for progression upon successful completion of the apprenticeship and qualification.
