Job summary

Dovetail & Slate Ltd is seeking an experienced accounting educator to join a higher education provider in delivering AAT accounting qualifications. You will teach, assess and support learners as they develop both technical knowledge and practical skills demanded by the profession.

You will plan engaging sessions, mark work, monitor learner progress, and contribute to curriculum development to ensure content reflects current professional standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold an AAT qualification or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Experience in teaching, assessing or instructing learners.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and assess learning activities that support progression and achievement.

About the Role

You'll join a higher education provider to deliver AAT accounting qualifications, teaching and assessing learners as they build the technical knowledge and practical skills the profession expects.

You'll plan and prepare engaging sessions, mark and assess work, and track learner progress so that everyone on your programme has the support they need to achieve.

Your responsibilities will include:

What We're Looking For

• An AAT qualification or equivalent accounting qualification
• Experience of teaching, assessing or instructing learners

Desirable (but not essential):

• A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
• Experience of delivering to learners across a range of levels
