Job summary

GLM Ghest Lloyd Ltd offers a Level 3 Apprenticeship in accounting in partnership with Kaplan. You will gain hands-on experience while working towards the AAT qualification, with study support provided by the company. This is a permanent role upon completion, with opportunities for progression within the firm.

Responsibilities include posting invoices, data entry, reconciliations, and assisting with client queries using accounting software. Training week aligns with 9:00am–5:30pm schedule.

Qualifications

• GCSE English at Grade 9/A* to 4/C is required.
• GCSE Maths at Grade 9/A* to 4/C is required.

What You'll Do

• Post any accounting journals in the account’s software.
• Prepare bookkeeping in accountancy software
• Downloading information from client portals
• Ad hoc administrative duties as needed by the office

Training Outcome

You will be part of the practice’s continued expansion and will be expected to want to progress within the company whilst completing the AAT qualification. There will also be the opportunity to carry out further study upon completion of the AAT. The Company will provide study support towards all professional accountancy qualifications. This is a permanent position therefore once the apprenticeship is completed you will be a permanent staff member with progression opportunity and further training courses. Having any sort of accounting experience is extremely advantageous, however this is not essential. If you are keen to secure an entry level role within an expanding accountancy firm offering a great start to your career, as well as a great career path to progress
